The Real Gross Domestic Product GDP, seasonally adjusted, increased at an annual rate of 1.8% during the third quarter of the current year.
Economic growth in the third quarter of 2024
Preliminary estimates of the quarterly national accounts show that Real Gross Domestic Product GDP, seasonally adjusted, increased at an annual rate of 1.8% during the third quarter of the current year (July to September 2023). The growth momentum thus points to a notable increase compared to the second quarter of 2024 (1.0%).
Quarter to quarter (i.e., compared to the second quarter of 2024), real GDP increased by 0.8%, after 0.2% growth recorded in the previous quarter.
On this basis, the Tunisian economy recorded a 1.0% growth during the first nine months of the current year.
